I received a "Maîtrise" (equivalent to the Bachelor of Science degree) in
Computer Science from the University of Montpellier (France) in 1994 and a DEA
(Master's degree) in 1995. From 1995 to 1996 I served the French Navy as a
MS Excel programmer. I resumed my graduate studies by the end of 1996 at LIRMM (Laboratoire d'Informatique, de Robotique
et de Microélectronique de Montpellier), a research institute jointly supported
by the Université Montpellier II and the CNRS
(Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique). In November 2000, I received a
PhD degree for my work in the area of adaptive interfaces (under supervision of
C. Dony). During my PhD I
taught programming, operating systems, advanced object oriented programming and machine
learning to undergraduate and graduate students. In 2001 I joined the e-lab, the research lab of the Bouygues
group. In 2006, I joined eBay Research Labs.
